Experience the Reserves

Exciting. Insightful. Rewarding. Thought-provoking. Stimulating. Inspiring. Awesome.

These are just some of the words that civil servants used to describe the highly successful, interactive Reserves Experience which is being rolled out across the country.

Following successful events in London and Birmingham the next sessions have been planned for

Cardiff - Tuesday 29 September 2015
Manchester - Thursday 15 October 2015
Edinburgh - Tuesday 27 October 2015
Glasgow - Thursday 29 October 2015

These events will be based around a number of 'immersive experience' stands demonstrating  some of the capabilities that reservists might be expected to support on operations – such as Force Protection, Logistics and Capacity Building and Intelligence. These will link to a fictional but highly plausible operational scenario which will be revealed at the beginning of the event.

You will then have the opportunity to talk to reservists from the Royal Navy, Army and RAF and find out more about the benefits of combining Reserve service with a career as a civil servant.

Whether you’re an individual civil servant, a line manager or in HR, you will discover how the training, skills and experience gained in the reserves can be used to improve performance in the civil service. So, if you’re a civil servant and want to have your eyes opened and your mind expanded, click on one of the links below to register.
