No matter what you choose to celebrate, it's that time of year when we all get a bit reflective - even an activist like me . Looking back through this blog site, two things jumped out - it's been another very busy year for Civil Service Local in the north west and we've managed to build on our previous successes by growing our programme.
We've have had new departments joining our projects and we were glad to welcome new members to our Steering Group. It's always good to work with new people and hear new ideas. I know we've managed to reach out to a lot of you through this blog. We've certainly built up our digital presence and we now have over 400 followers on Twitter, which is a great result.
My personal top three highlights have been sharing with you my experiences at Civil Service Live, our Big Bike Ride to raise money for St Catherine's Hospice and being invited back to help deliver our fourth successful Academy. I've kept on learning throughout as well as meeting some inspiring people and building my professional network. In the new year, I look forward to the challenge of co-leading our new Inclusion Network as well as bringing you more news about our latest development opportunities and new projects working with even more citizens.
For now, I just want to thank everyone who's taken the time to read our blog this year and I hope it encouraged you to get involved with our programme. Without your support, we couldn't deliver our projects. Please keep following us in the new year and if I can suggest a resolutuion - tell at least one more colleague about it so we can reach out to even more civil servants in 2016.
