We'll be holding TWO Discovery Sessions about Smarter Working at the end of March - one in Kirkham on Wednesday 30 March and another in Manchester the next day, Thursday 31 March.
Entitled “Transforming the Workplace", these sessions aim to inspire you to take a full and active role in the transformation of your own office environment.
As part of CS Local's ongoing commitment to sharing the pledges made at CS Live 2015, this new session will help you implement Smarter Working and ‘The Way We Work’ (TW3) programme in your own workplace. Smarter Working is a cross-departmental programme led by the Cabinet Office and designed to help realise the Civil Service aim of ‘creating modern workplaces for all colleagues, enabling flexible working, substantially improving IT tools and streamlining security requirements’.
You will hear the latest on Smarter Working from both the Cabinet Office and the Ministry of Justice (MOJ). It's an opportunity to share and debate the latest trends in smarter working as well as discussing how you can implement the smart working agenda in your own office.
The event is aimed at all civil servants in the North West and will be chaired by Adrian Jonas, the Regional Programme Manager in the Government Property Unit at the Cabinet Office. Keynote contributions will be from Richard Graham, Head of Workplace Transformation in Cabinet Office and Sachia Thompson from the MOJ.
