Opportunities in the Environment Agency
The Environment Agency works to create better places for people and wildlife and supports sustainable development. They’re looking for good people managers who can work in a fast changing environment, and can direct and motivate their people to deliver work programmes that achieve business results. They have three short-term secondment opportunities available for substantive HEOs or EOs who are suitable for promotion.

Opportunities in HMRC
HMRC collects the money that pays for the UK’s public services as well as helping families and individuals with targeted financial support. The Making Tax Digital for Individuals programme, which is part of HMRC’s wider transformation programme and offers a number of secondment opportunities in Preston, Liverpool and Manchester.

How do I apply?
- It would be helpful if you can note in your e-mail which department you are interested in: the Environment Agency, or HMRC;
- The closing date for expressions of interest is 9 December 2016;
- I'll send your application on to our colleagues in the Environment Agency and HMRC for an initial sift;
- You may be asked to attend an informal interview with the department prior to any secondment offer;
- Before you get in touch, you will need to discuss your development and your current department's business needs with your line manager.
