“Meet the neighbours” is open to Civil Servants at all grades. The event will be a mix of stalls from the departments in the city, speakers and informal networking activities. We have 10 departments taking part and hope to have more.
It will be based around the vision for a 'Brilliant Civil Service' which encourages departments to be connected and innovative, promoting the Civil Service as a great place to work. The aim is that attendees get a better understanding of the work various departments do, an opportunity to network with colleagues and share ideas that help us all to ‘see the big picture’.

Time: 10.30am – 1.30pm
If you would like to register to attend, please do so online here. Places will be limited, so book early if you would like to attend. You will need to seek approval from your line manager and any travel and subsistence costs must be met by your department. This can count towards your 5 a year learning and development days. More information on the arrangements for the event will be issued to attendees nearer the time.
Please be aware there is no parking available at the venue, but there are public car parks around the city centre. Lunch won't be provided, but you are welcome to bring it with you and stay after the 1.30 finish, to network.
