Discover volunteering

Volunteering can make a difference in so many ways. It can boost your confidence, enhance your personal and teamwork skills and help you see the bigger picture. Sir Jeremy Heywood (Cabinet Secretary and Head of the Civil Service) has guaranteed three days a year paid special leave for volunteering and said it is an opportunity to build more capable connected communities that complement our public services.

Civil Service Local are looking to expand their volunteering projects in Cornwall and are holding three Discovery sessions to explain more about volunteering with us. If you are interested in finding out more, please come along to one of the sessions in St Austell on Wednesday 10th May.
