Last year’s award nominated event was one of those ‘I was there’ moments. A real stand out in the working year for all those involved. The effect it had on the young people attending actually made a fair few of us ‘well up’.

Well if you’re able to be available for one or both of the events then our Volunteer coordinators would love to hear from you. There’s a variety of roles to support the smooth running of the day. These include:
- Cloakroom & Security
- Outdoor Marshalls
- Communications & Technical Support
- Room Leads & Supports
- Receptionists & Meet and Greet
Some of the roles are all day, some might only be required for assisting getting people into the event initially. You'll also be asked to attend a Venue Walkthrough beforehand - invites will be sent upon selection.
- Title the email either Changing Horizons Blackpool, Changing Horizons Oldham or Changing Horizons Both
- Put if there is any specific role you are wishing to do.
- Include details of any accessibility issues you have.
- Tell us if you were involved in last year's event or not.

Is there any other way I can help?
Yes - I am looking for some inspirational celebs to make short 30-60 second videos to play to the kids at the start of the day so if you have links to anybody who the young people will know and who might be willing to give 60 seconds of their time to make a post a vid then let me know.
Also we want the event to get some coverage in the local media (papers, radio, TV). If you have any contacts who might be able to attend the event and report on it then please let me know.
