Supporting Vulnerable Adults

This year, we will will be running lots of projects to support vulnerable adults in the North West. These projects involve working with a range of citizens. these include;
  • the homeless
  • offenders
  • long-term unemployed
  • people with life limiting illnesses
  • BAME communities
  • volunteers who support these citizens on a regular basis.

Do you want to be part of one of our projects? Could you make a difference to someone's life whilst developing new skills?

    Life limiting illness ,thers something i know about both from a physical and mental health point of view .
    One tends to think cannot do this instead of thinking what can i do .
    For instance theme park ..can't go on big rides can film and photo graph
    Dark days withdraw ...share on MH forum get advice find friends
    Not quit as simple as that but even writing this helps .

      Sorry to hear that you've experienced this but you are right that sharing rather than attempting to go it alone is the best answer.

      In terms of Mental Health it is an area I want to put some events onto cover as it is a massive challenge to destigmatise it.
