Devon and Cornwall volunteer beach cleans

We’re teaming up with Surfers Against Sewage to support their annual Autumn Beach Clean initiative. Since 2011 over 28,000 volunteers have taken part, clearing 78,000 kilos of rubbish. Join us at one of our three organised beach cleans to help keep your local beaches clean and welcoming for all.

This event is suitable for all grades. All you need is a sensible pair of shoes and gloves to protect your hands. We will provide bin bags for rubbish collection.

Please note that you will need to seek approval from your line manager to take part in this volunteering and any travel and subsistence costs must be met by your department.
