Richard Heaton, Permanent Secretary of the Civil Service & First Parliamentary Counsel for the Cabinet Office is coming to 2 events in Nottingham on Monday 27 October .

The first is an East Midlands Senior Leaders network meeting on between 11:00 am and 1.00 pm at the HM Revenue and Customs office in the Castle Meadow Business Park.

The theme will be Reform with a particular focus on the Digital by Default agenda.

Joining Richard will be a member of the Government Digital Service who will give a broad overview of the digital agenda and you will be given the opportunity to discuss their department's progress and the challenges they face.

All staff in the east midlands at Grade 7 and above are invited.

The second is at the same venue over the lunch period  from 1:30 pm to 2:15 pm and Richard has asked to meet staff from Grade AA to SEO from east midlands departments to find out more about their work.

This is an opportunity not to be missed where you can learn from a Senior Leader at the heart of Civil service Reform and let him know your views on what's happening locally!

The target audience for this second event is staff at Grades AA - SEO.

If you wish to attend either event  please email Janice Smith by the end of Friday 10 October.
