Job shadowing at the Cabinet Office

Posted by: , Posted on: - Categories: Zzz archive

This opportunity is now closed and no longer available

We recently worked in partnership with the Cabinet Office Leadership Team to deliver a series of events designed to help develop a Civil Service wide leadership statement. I met the team in Plymouth and they kindly agreed to take part in our cross departmental job shadowing arrangements.  The first advert to spend a day with a member of the team is shown below:

Type of opportunity: Job shadowing a Policy Adviser

Department: Cabinet Office

Location: 1 Horse Guards Road, London

Description:  An opportunity to shadow Jess Ward who is a Policy Adviser (HEO) on the Collective Leadership Team in Cabinet Office. This would allow you to learn about consultation and implementation of policy to strengthen civil service leadership, as well as learning about the workings of Cabinet Office itself. Dependent on the day there may be meetings within the Cabinet Office or externally. Jess is a recent external recruit, so would be happy to talk about her experiences as a new member of staff.

Duration: 1 day

If you want further information please contact Jess Ward

How to apply: Complete the generic application form and email to email it to me, Heidi Stephens  You don’t need to write 250 words on the application form, but please give some indication as to why you want to apply for the opportunity and what you want to gain from it.
