Plans are afoot for Academy 2015 in Chester

Posted by: , Posted on: - Categories: North West England

This week, our Academy Project Team brought together some old (and by that I mean experienced) and new faces to start planning for our fourth Civil Service Local Academy in the north west which will this year be held in Chester.

I asked some of the newer faces round the table to share their thoughts on the mammoth task that's facing us - to deliver another four day residential leadership training event in a creative way with no real budget! This is what they had to say . . .

The Planning day put the Academy in to context for me. I'm really looking forward to the event now - but with a bit of trepidation. I can't wait to meet the delegates in September."

Nicki, National Offenders Management Service

It was a very interesting day. Bring on the Academy!

Robert, Department for Work and Pensions

I'm very excited to be part of this project team

Mick, Lancashire Police

This is a great opportunity to be included in what looks like a great event. Lots to do but I can't wait to get started.

Andy, Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs

I'm really excited to be part of this year's project and I'm looking forward to working alongside a great bunch of people.

Sharon, Ministry of Defence

So far so good, so I'll be keeping you updated with our progress as well as providing more information about the Academy itself and when and how to apply nearer the time.
