Posted by: , Posted on: - Categories: North East, Yorkshire and the Humber

Crisis LogoI know the schools are just going back after summer and Christmas seems far away but the cards are already in the shops and we are looking ahead at how to support people in crisis at Christmas.

A half day session has been arranged for 10 volunteers to help Crisis with the collection and sorting of donated clothing. The session will start with a brief introduction to Crisis and the work they do with an emphasis on services provided during the Christmas period.

When:          8 December 2016, 12:00 to 16:00

Where:         Crisis Skylight Centre, Newcastle for transportation to Crisis storage centre just outside the city centre.

This activity is suitable for either individuals or for a group of people together. Please email Kelly Roush to volunteer.

If you would like to volunteer using part of your 3 days a year volunteering special leave please check whether this opportunity meets your departmental guidance.
