Tomorrow's Managers Today

Posted by: , Posted on: - Categories: Midlands

Walsall Business Partnership is looking for volunteers to act as dealerships looking to buy new vehicles.

Students will operate as a company which manufactures cardboard vehicles.  They will be required to think about what the customer would like to buy and how designs will meet customer’s needs. The manufacturing process must be completed on time and costs managed.

Your role will be to listen to the team's designs and decide which products you want to buy, as well as request bespoke items. Once the vehicles have been produced you will ensure they meet a strict quality audit.

Volunteers will also run the business services shop. Your role will be to sell resources and templates to enable the students to produce the vehicles. You will also keep an overview of the financial records being kept by each trading team.  A full briefing will be given.

Where: Abu Bakr Girls School -Shelly Campus, Scarborough Road, Walsall, WS2 9RF

When:  4 April 2017 from 8.30am to 3.00pm

If you would like to support this event or find out more, contact Deborah Merrick or Sarah Harrison on 01922 424200 or email:  businesssupport@walsallebp.co.uk
