Lab in a Lorry, run by the Institute of Physics (IOP), is an interactive mobile laboratory designed to give young people aged 11 - 14 the opportunity to explore science through open-ended experiments. Volunteers with a scientific or engineering background are needed to guide the students through the experiments and make sure everyone gets to be involved through hands on experience.
You should be able to commit to a minimum of 1 full school day, but are welcome to go for as many days as you like. In return you will have a rewarding and unforgettable experience, receive some IOP freebies and be awarded affiliate membership to the institute for a year.
