There are opportunities to work with young people in Leeds, to help to improve their employability skills, business awareness and confidence.

Cashpoints business game: 7 January 2016: Cardinal Heenan School, Tongue Lane, Leeds LS 6 4QE: 8:30 - 15:30

This is a fast and fun event. Teams run a business for the day and compete against others to maximise sales, balance the books and be a good employer. You will be there to support the young people through their trials and jubilations and who knows, maybe even share in their victory at the end? You will also be helping them to learn about the working world.

You're Hired! Interview skills training: 27 January 2016: Priesthorpe School, Priesthorpe Lane, Pudsey LS28 5SG: 8:30 - 15:30

If you have some previous experience of conducting job interviews, then why not share your top tips with Priesthorpe's 6th form students at this interview skills training event? You will support a team of students through the event as they compete to 'get hired'. Students will learn how to answer common interview questions and make a good impression. Full training is given before the event.

If you would like to improve the life chances of young learners by volunteering for these events please email EBPInbox@leeds.gov.uk copying Richard Armstrong
