Bristol Met Academy needs volunteers for mock interviews

Mock interviews 9cm x 9cmCivil Service Local in partnership with the Bristol Met Academy are looking for volunteers to help with mock interviews on the 25th and 26th January. The two day event promotes the value of working and will also help students get that all important first job.

This is a fantastic opportunity to refresh your interview skills, meet people from other Government departments and help people gain confidence in an interview situation. No previous interviewing experience is necessary.

When: 25th & 26th January 2017

Where: Bristol Met Academy, Snowden Road, Bristol BS16 2HD

Time: 9.15am to 3.30pm

Civil Servants are entitled to three days special leave a year for volunteering activities. Volunteering can help you to increase your skills/competences and it also gives you the opportunity to be active in your local community.

For more information on volunteering please contact June Shearing. Please note you may volunteer for one or both days. Please state in your email which date you would prefer to volunteer for.

You will need to seek authorisation from your line manager in order to attend this event.  Any travel and subsistence costs must be met by your home department and lunch won't be provided.
