Civil Service Local are looking for volunteers to help provide mock interviews to students from the T2 Apprenticeship Academy in Bristol on 8th and/or 9th November.
T2 Apprenticeship Academy work with over 10,000 learners every year and is one of the largest training organisations in the UK.
This is a fantastic opportunity to refresh your interview skills, meet people from other Government departments and help people gain confidence in an interview situation. No prior interviewing experience is needed.
Feedback from previous sessions held at the Academy has said that these interviews have made a difference to their students.
‘‘We could visibly see the difference in our young people when they returned to the Academy, they were uplifted, had more confidence and all had learned more about themselves and their current skillset.’’
When: 8th and/or 9th November 2016.
Where: Bristol Central Job Centre, 1 St Stephens’ Street, BRISTOL, BS1 1EN
Time: 9.30am to 3pm (times to be confirmed)
Civil Servants are entitled to three days special leave a year for volunteering activities. Volunteering can help you to increase your skills/competences and it also gives you the opportunity to be active in your local community.
You will need to seek authorisation from your line manager in order to attend this event. Any travel and subsistence costs must be met by your home department and lunch won't be provided.
