The Leadership Strategy Team from the Home Office are holding workshops in St Austell which are open to all government departments.

These workshops are about encouraging people to be confident and positive, and looks at the neuroscience behind these feelings. You will learn how the brain works when you behave confidently and positively with other people and how that can help you win people over. The event includes story tellers who will share their confidence stories and some fun group exercises which you can get involved in.

When: 10th May 2018

Where: St Austell Service Centre, Penhaligon house, Trinity Street, St Austell, PL25 5BG.

Time: Either 10:30 - 12:30 or 13.30 – 15.30

Staff at any grade and from any department can attend this event, however line managers and staff who are involved in (or have an interest in) leadership, will find this event particularly beneficial.

Please note that you will need to seek approval from your line manager and any travel and subsistence costs must be met by your department. This is a learning event and may count towards your 5 a year learning and development days.
