Discovering the Environment Agency

Posted by: , Posted on: - Categories: North East, Yorkshire and the Humber

Would you like to find out more about the Environment Agency and discover how they respond to flood and environmental incidents? We would like to invite you to join us at Foss House for our Discovering the Environment Agency session.

This session will provide the opportunity to meet with colleagues from the Environment Agency and hear from the Area Director about their work to reduce the risk of flooding in York, including improvements to the Foss Barrier. The session will also include a tour of the Area Incident Room and the chance to visit market stalls with interactive activities, to gain a better insight into the range of work carried out by the Environment Agency.

Where and When

All the sessions will be taking place on 3 December at Foss House, Kings Pool, 1 -2 Peasholme Green, York, YO1 7PX. There will be four sessions available between 10:00 - 15:00.

Would be helpful if there was an equivalent session about the Environment Agency in Exeter and/or other locations throughout the UK. This would provide more opportunities for attending and will save on travel. So in otherwords it would be convenient for more people to attend a session if they wanted to.
