There are two opportunities to attend this session which explores personal and organisational resilience, what it is, why we need it and how to build up resilience levels. The session includes interactive exercises and a facilitator sharing a personal resilience themed story which some may find upsetting.
Delegates will explore what happens to the mind and body when under pressure, coping mechanisms, mindset and tips on creating a more positive outlook.
By the end of the event you will have:
- developed a broader understanding on a national subject impacting the Civil Service
- acquired skills to use back in the business
- met and networked with colleagues from other government departments

Personal Resilience has never been so important at work and at home and this session promises to be a brilliant opportunity to build skills to help you and others thrive -remember to go back and share what you learn with others!

This sounds excellent - I hope that similar courses are held locally - Yorkshire & Humber region

I would be interested in attending this workshop but Scotland is too far to go. It would be really helpful if this workshop was in the South East of England or even London. Any plans for this event being held in our area?

We are looking at doing something similar in the South East. Watch this space.

I would be interested in this event if it were not for the fact that I will be on annual leave on 29/05/19, and do not wish to interrupt that for a work-related activity! I work in Glasgow, so would be keen on attending another event of this type at some point in the future. Please register my interest and update us about future events?
Regards,
Ross
