In feedback collected at our events, you told us you wanted greater educational and volunteering opportunities related to environmental issues. We would therefore like to establish a cross-departmental network specifically aimed at those with responsibilities for, or influenced by, environmental topics.
This is a new network and we hope to share ideas for good environmental practices and enhance our collective understanding of environmental issues. Alongside this, we would like to create and support events and activities to engage civil servants throughout the South West in both learning and volunteering opportunities.
The South West Environmental Network will provide a platform to share best practices, discuss current topics, contribute new thinking and develop a wider comprehension of the environmental pressures within our respective departments.
For the network to succeed we need to create a dynamic forum that is dependent on the interest and enthusiasm of those involved to ensure the network thrives and develops a future direction that's focused on value and delivery. If environmental issues are a concern for you, then we would like to hear from you.
Get in touch today if you are interested in joining this new network by emailing Andrew Hyde.
This network is open to any Civil Servants in the South West. Please note that you will need to seek approval from your line manager to join.
