Volunteering in the south east of England

Volunteering by civil servants is an important part of the government white paper on giving. In the south east we are bringing together local schemes looking for volunteers in your area.

To apply please email a completed expression of interest form to Liz Challand. You must include confirmation of approval from your line manager.

What: working with Career Academies in the region to help raise the career aspirations of 16 to 19 year olds,

The Prince’s Trust: prison mentors
What: provide 1 to 1 mentoring and progression for young people leaving prison

Become a school governor

Equal Approach: become a befriender
What: working with disabled and disadvantaged individuals who have been made redundant following the closure of Remploy factories
