Being the Voice of the User - Discovery Session

Posted by: , Posted on: - Categories: North East, Yorkshire and the Humber

OpenYourEyesBusiness Transformation is all about putting the user first. By that I mean building services that are designed around the needs of the user. As a Product Owner, in an Agile environment, my role is to be the voice of the users. I do that by ensuring the User is always at the centre of research, design, development, testing and implementation.

In this presentation I will be showing how I and my DWP Digital Secure Communications project team, using Agile methodology, have been able to start to transformation just one area of DWP’s business to better satisfy user needs. I will give some real life examples of how the a Product Owner ensures that these needs are always at the centre of the design and how acceptance criteria are used to test that the user needs are being satisfied.

Where: Room GC05 Quarry House, Quarry Hill, Leeds

Timing: 10:00 - 12:00
