New partnership with Enterprise for Education

Posted by: , Posted on: - Categories: Midlands

Enterprise for Education (e4e) is a Derby City partnership linking employers with schools and students in a bid to:

  • Raise students aspirations
  • Improve employability amongst the city's young people
  • Provide a larger pool of home grown talent for local employers
  • Create a better understanding of career opportunities.

Volunteers can get involved in a range of activities including CV workshops, careers talks, mentoring and mock interviews.  Full briefing packs are provided. e4e also arrange for groups of pupils to visit local employers and for industry experts to inform and inspire school staff about their area of work. Volunteers engage with parents to raise awareness of work opportunities.

Volunteers are needed on 26 April 2017 at Murray Park to offer Careers Talks, and on 13 July 2017 at West Park to offer mock interviews.
