The Skills Service is planning a day of Year 10 Mock Interviews at Ken Stimpson Community School in Werrington, Peterborough on 10 May.
This forms part of their employability offer to schools and will enable every student to have access to a basic 10 minute mock interview (with 5 minutes feedback) before entering Year 11 and potentially the world of work at 16.
We find, not only do these mock interviews prepare students for the actual interview process, but also supports the building of their confidence.
We are looking for volunteers to carry out the mock interviews. Over the course of the day there will be 3 opportunities at the times below:

We would love to hear from you if you can support this initiative. The school will provide refreshments (tea, coffee and biscuits) throughout the day for any volunteers in attendance and the mock Interviews will take place in the main exam hall.
This is an opportunity to not only help the students but also to learn or refresh your interview skills.
