This week is National Work Life Week and next week is World Mental Health Day reminding us all to look after our health and wellbeing. That can be very difficult when we live such busy lives so why not come along to our wellbeing event next Friday where you can pick up some useful tips and guidance to help you.
The event is a series of short complementary workshops.
Workshops Mental Health – 10:15am
Looking at the difference between stress and pressure, recognising the signs of stress in your self and others.
Seated yoga and relaxation – 11:30am
If you spend all day hunched over your laptop this is the session for you, simple exercises to help you relax those stiffened joints.
Mindfulness – 1:00pm
Is your head a jumble of thoughts, brooding about last week, worrying about next week, another item to your to do list
Wellbeing and You – 2:15
'I'm too busy - where are those biscuits!' Small manageable steps to lead a healthier and more physical lifestyle while having a bit of what you like.

We need to manage numbers so please book each workshop you wish to attend here.
Please note that you will need to seek approval from your line manager and any travel and subsistence costs must be met by your department. This is a learning event and can count towards your 5 a year learning and development days.
