The Leadership Strategy Team from the Home Office are holding a workshop in Plymouth, which is open to all government departments.
This workshop is about encouraging people to be confident and positive, and looks at the neuroscience behind these feelings. You will learn how the brain works when you behave confidently and positively with other people and how that can help you win people over. The event includes story tellers who will share their confidence stories and some fun group exercises which you can get involved in.

Hi Michelle, we are looking at ways in which we can either run more of these sessions or provide them in alternative ways. There is a lot of material available through Civil Service Learning and we are keen not to duplicate what others are doing. A lot of the benefit come from the Face to Face interaction which could be hard to replicate even with a live on-line service - but we're looking and always interested to hear how we can help local civil servants wherever they are.
