Our roles may be quite specific but the skills we need to undertake them are likely very similar across departments. By getting to know other departments better we can connect up some of the pieces and help us see the bigger picture, creating the potential to collaborate and open up opportunities for development and improvement of services
This latest in our series of roadshows, which aim to raise awareness and develop networks between different government departments, offers a brief insight into the work of DWP.
The roadshow will include a variety of presentations from different teams within the Department for Work and Pensions including our Service centre teams, Working age benefits teams, Visiting officers, Complaints team, Prison work coaches and more.
There will be an opportunity for Q&A at the end of each presentation.
And of course light refreshments will be available.
When: 3 October at either 10:00 to 12:00 or 1:00 to 3:00
Where: Colchester Job Centre
Please note: There is no parking on site. There are many car parks locally to the Jobcentre and excellent public transport links for both bus and train.
