This session explores personal and organisational resilience, what it is, why we need it and how to build up resilience levels. It includes interactive exercises and a facilitator sharing a personal resilience themed story. Delegates will explore what happens to the mind and body when under pressure, coping mechanisms, mindset and tips on creating a more positive outlook.

This event is open to all grades and Civil Service departments.
Please note that you will need to seek approval from your line manager and any travel and subsistence costs must be met by your department. This is a learning event and may count towards your 5 a year learning and development days.
Please bring your Civil Service/Departmental pass as ID. As the training room is located in an operational court house, there will be a requirement for security to perform searches of those entering the building.
Please also be aware there is no parking available at the venue but public car parks are available close by. The office is also close to Cardiff Queen Street station. Tea and coffee will be provided at the venue.
