The Government Digital Service (GDS) helps UK government work better for everyone by leading the digital transformation of public services.

Lisa Jeffrey, GDS Relationship Manager for the North and Midlands will be hosting a discovery session about the work of the service. This session is on the CS Local theme of functions and professions. This interactive presentation will also provide an opportunity to share your feedback about how Lisa can best support you and your work in the future.

It will also give those attending a raised awareness about the various different services provided by GDS including the offer from the Scottish Digital Academy which was set up in collaboration with GDS Academy, giving you an opportunity to gain an insight into government priorities.

The Scottish digital academy's focus is making sure that Scottish public sector organisations have a coherent learning and development programme to:

  • develop and grow our in-house capability to build effective digital services
  • transform how government delivers services that meet users’ needs

We want to equip our people with digital skills, so they can fill key roles in our projects and programmes.

We hope you can join us.
