A night in the park makes a difference, are you taking part

The World’s Big Sleep Out takes place on Saturday 7 December 2019. This event aims to bring together over 50,000 people, sleeping out in parks across the world to help raise money to eradicate homelessness. 

In 2018 CS Local Scotland and many civil servants took part, Sonia Preston, Delivery & Engagement lead, Tammy Baillie, sponsor for Engagement and Mandy Loughlin, sponsor for vulnerable young people networks slept in parks in Dundee, Glasgow and Edinburgh.

This year the sleep out has gone global with people sleeping out in parks across the world from Edinburgh to New York. Tammy Baillie, our CS Local Scotland and NI Co-ordinator is taking part again and spending the night with thousands of other people in Princes Street Gardens, Edinburgh.
