Would you like to give something back to the community you work in? Do you want to develop new skills? Do you want to volunteer but can't find the right opportunities? We can help!

In London we are working Haringey, Hackney and Tower Hamlets with a variety of local and national organisations to:

  • cut crime
  • improve the quality of life of residents
  • increase youth opportunities

To join one our schemes, please email your CV and a covering note explaining your interest to Donna Donaghey. You must have your line manager's permission before you apply.

Equal Approach
What: become a mentor or befriending volunteer supporting disabled and disadvantaged individuals who have recently been made redundant

Career Academies UK
What: join a local area boards and help manage activities for young people in your area

Education Business Partnerships
What: working with schools – simply be prepared to share your experience of the world of work!

Marie Curie Cancer Care
What: opportunities for individuals and teams based upon your expertise and needs – everything from envelope stuffers to Project Managers

Leonard Cheshire Disability
What: a range of opportunities including administrative work, strategy development, project management, befriending elderly and disabled people who just want a chat or help with getting to the shops

Become a school governor

The Mayor of London also runs a voluntary scheme called Team London, which has lots of opportunities and roles in the region.
