The Reserves Experience is coming to Manchester next Thursday 15 October

Armed forces logoOn Thursday 15 October at Manchester Town Hall, civil servants will have a unique opportunity to get the Reserves Experience.

This thought-provoking and stimulating event will be based around a number of 'immersive experience' stands demonstrating just some of the capabilities that Reservists might be expected to support on operations – such as force protection, logistics and capacity building, medical care and intelligence.

You will also have the opportunity to talk to Reservists from the Royal Navy, Army and Royal Air Force and find out more about the benefits of combining Reserve service with a career as a civil servant.

The event is open to all, so whether you’re an individual civil servant, a line manager or a team leader, come along to find out more about how the training, skills and experience gained in the Reserves can be used to improve performance in the day job.

Just click on the link below to register for the event and be prepared to have your eyes opened!

If you can't get to the event find us on blog.gov.uk under reserves or use the links below to find out more. Civil Service Local is committed to ensuring that wherever possible our events are accessible to all participants. These immersive events are being organised and produced by a Civil Service organisation outside of Civil Service Local. If you have any specific requirements, please contact them by email to see if they can make any reasonable adjustments. These events count towards your minimum 5 L&D days.
