Secure that Job!

stand out crowdOur popular discovery session 'Secure That Job' is back.

If you struggle, when applying for jobs, to match and demonstrate your abilities in 250 words this session could be for you.

We can't obviously write the perfect competency example for you or provide any guarantees but we can help you get the most from CS Jobs and, through a mixture of listening and group activities, give you some useful tips for writing competency examples and completing your job applications.

The session does not cover interview technique.

When: Thursday 7 July 2016

Where: The Auditorium (L), HM Treasury, 1 Horse Guards Road, London, SW1A 2HQ

Time: 13:30 to 15:30

Book your place here

Civil Service Local is committed to ensuring that wherever possible our events are accessible to all participants. If you have any specific requirements that will enable you to fully participate, please let us know and we will endeavour to make any reasonable adjustments.

Similar sessions are held around the country, look out on this blog and in local communications for details, I will also pass your comment onto NE so they can let you know directly of events in your area.

    Hello Susan

Please can you let me know when further sessions are likely to be advertised? We need to apply for our jobs as part of a major reorganisation over the summer/early autumn - will there be some more sessions in this period?

    Thanks

Hi Karen, We will continue to run these sessions periodically but there will not be any for a few weeks now, probably September/October for the next one. Details will be posted here on our blog when the next one is available.

      Hi Lorraine,
To get the most out of the sessions we try to make them cross departmental. We have run a session in Luton but happy to do another if there is the interest. If you email me direct at Susan.coles2@csresourcing.gsi.gov.uk we will see if we can arrange something.
