Civil Service Connect in Bristol

Posted by: , Posted on: - Categories: Cymru Wales, South West England

Civil Service Connect logoThis is a new event called Civil Service Connect, which has been designed and organised by a team of staff from different government departments, who attended our Civil Service Local Leadership Academy.

The event is to bring together colleagues from departments across Bristol and the surrounding travel to work area. It is open to civil servants of all grades and from all departments.

There will be:

  • a mix of stalls from a number of departments in the city and surrounding area
  • career talks, by senior leaders, designed to motivate and inspire you (bookable at the event)
  • an overview of the new Success Profiles
  • an opportunity to increase your knowledge and capability with informal networking

Find out more about the departments and what they do, look for ways you can connect and build your network, share ideas and ‘see the big picture’. Participating departments include MOD, DWP, Government Analysis Function, CSSC, Defra, HMRC, Civil Service Local, Civil Service Leadership Academy project teams, Charity for Civil Servants and Companies House.
The event supports the vision for a Brilliant Civil Service which encourages departments to be connected and innovative, promoting the Civil Service as a great place to work.
