Following excellent feedback received we are pleased to let you know that Robbie Cross we will be running a further Presenting with Confidence session. Robbie is one of our Academy mentors and an experienced presenter and would like to share his hints and tips for presenting with confidence.
Many of you may have been required to do presentations in team meetings or at departmental events. No matter how many times you are asked, we know that it can make people feel nervous or a little anxious beforehand.
What will I learn?
This session is on the CS Local theme of personal growth and knowledge and will cover practical and actionable steps to increase your confidence in public speaking and presentations. It will provide those attending with the tools and techniques to increase skills. This is also mapped to the civil service behaviours around Communicating and Influencing
Where and when
This session will be taking place in Room BP2313, Benton Park View, Newcastle upon Tyne on Friday 28 June between 10:00 - 12:30.

Hello Colleagues - thanks for your interest in the session and the queries around where else it can be delivered.
Just to explain, I offered these sessions to the CS Local team in the North East because I have supported the Academy over the past few years and thought I could offer some additional support - I am not able to offer the sessions outside of the North East as the sessions are an add-on to my "day" job and it is unlikely I'd be able to offer any more than I have already committed to. NB - There is a session planned for Sept/Oct in either York or Leeds which might suit some.
Final Thought - if you are reading this and have some experience in presenting that you are willing to share - then why not set up your own workshop to help colleagues?
