It’s a simple idea, we all do better when we work together and invest in our future!
Do you have a curiosity for how others create and deliver learning?
Do you have a wealth of experience within the learning and development profession that you can share with colleagues from across government?
If yes then CS Local North West needs you!
We are looking to re-launch the north west cross-departmental learning and development network. This network is specifically aimed at those with responsibilities for learning and development as part of their role.
What is a CS Local network?
These are cross-government working groups designed to encourage collaboration, share best practice and reduce duplication while increasing awareness of a specific topic amongst civil servants throughout localities.
What would my role be?
As a group, you will work together on common learning and development issues to identify resolutions by sharing resources and experiences along with any lessons learned along the way. You will establish how the Civil Service can deliver the best possible learning and development offers across government by working collaboratively as one organisation, maximizing the use of technology to enable us to do this effectively. You will meet regularly as a network to address and progress challenges and work to deliver 2 cross-government events per year.
For the network to succeed we need to create a dynamic group that is interested and will ensure the network thrives and develops a future direction that's focused on value and delivery.
We are also looking for someone who is looking for a new challenge to lead this network. Someone who has the drive and commitment to make this a success. Ideally this person will have the time to give 1 day per month and the skills to shape and facilitate the network.
How do I get involved?
