Join us for an awareness and discussion session on dementia and how it affects those living with it and their carers.

With an ageing population and an increase in retirement age it is more likely that we will be engaging with colleagues, family or customers who are affected by dementia.

The aim of this session is to raise awareness and share experiences.

This 45 minute online session will be hosted by Mary Crozier from the Civil Service Local Scotland and Northern Ireland team. These events are open to all civil servants to join.

How do I take part?

We have 2 sessions available:

Tuesday 8 June 2021 from 11am to midday register via Eventbrite

Tuesday 22 June 2021 from 11am to midday register here via Eventbrite

You must register using your Civil Service work email address and ensure you have permission from your line manager to attend. We will send you the link to Microsoft Teams prior to the event.

If you would like any further information on this event please email  - CSLocalScotlandandNorthernIreland@cabinetoffice.gov.uk

Covid has put additional pressure on carers and their families and as a carer myself, any support from inside the Civil Service as well as externally is always welcome. Do consider joining if you are impacted by dementia in any way .
