I have e-mailed about this event, but have yet to receive a reply. Please can someone confirm if this event is still going ahead next Tuesday?

Hi Chris, I understand you have just been talking to Richard on the phone who has confirmed your place on this event next week. This event has proved to be extremely popular and we were not able to accommodate all the requests for places. We are looking to see how we can do more of these events in the future.
