Applying for A Job presentation

The MOD runs a monthly Applying for A Job presentation in MOD Main Building, Whitehall.

They usually have a few spaces available and have kindly offered these to staff from other government departments.

The presentation runs for about 2 hours and is a general run through on:

  • The principles of writing a CV, creating a well laid out CV with appropriate content
  • The principles of writing an internal job application, structuring and completing a successful supporting statement using the STAR structure to compile your core competence examples
  • Ways of preparing for interview, including typical interview questions, techniques, tips and hints

All presentations start at 10.30am and are running on the following dates.

  • Wednesday 9th August
  • Wednesday 13th September
  • Wednesday 11th October
