You will meet colleagues from a range of departments in the north west and will be able to talk about common problems, share ideas and discuss possible solutions.
Results from the cross-Civil Service People Survey show that assessing performance, giving and receiving feedback and engagement are issues that need to be improved. You will be able to learn from colleagues at different grades and different roles what works in their departments and you can share your ideas to help them. The aim of the event is for attendees to identify best practice in dealing with common issues, and for them to carry on sharing ideas with colleagues they have met on the day.
The event will take place on Friday 20 September 2019 at the Insolvency Service, 3 Piccadilly Place, Manchester, M1 3BN.
This is the first time Civil Service Local North West has hosted a hack event, which is a term used in the technology industry. Our event will be a chance for colleagues with a range of skills and experience to get together and find solutions to the problems they come across most often as managers. You can talk about the support you need to improve as a leader and create a network of colleagues who can support each other in the future.
The event is open to civil servants all grades with management responsibilities. We will confirm your registration once we know the exact numbers attending.
