Civil Service Local is pleased to announce an opportunity for civil servants in the east, south east and London to join our latest cross-departmental Academy programme for junior grades.
The Academy starts with a four day residential course at Wyboston Lakes Training Centre, Great North Road, Wyboston, MK44 3AL (35 – 55 mins train from Kings Cross to St Neots, then a short taxi ride to venue), 26 to 29 June. Delegates then work on a project over the following year – typically for around one day a month.
The 2017 Civil Service Local ESEL Academy is a fantastic opportunity for staff in the junior grades to develop both personal and collective skills.
The Academy has been carefully aligned to the Civil Service Competency Framework and the three high level leadership behaviours: inspiring, confident, empowering. The business projects delivered over the year will support our vision of ‘A Brilliant Civil Service’
The Academy is a mix of self-awareness, personal development and ideas production with delegates working together in teams to identify a project to deliver over the following 12 months. It will to be lively, challenging and exciting!
Previous delegates said:
