The North West covers all the major cities and towns in the five counties of North West England; Cheshire, Cumbria, Greater Manchester, Lancashire, and Merseyside.
Our CS Local team delivers cross departmental induction, leadership academies and learning/networking events. The blog page below will show you the latest events open for booking.
We also run cross departmental networks for those who work in, or are passionate about, continuous improvement; wellbeing; environmental issues; diversity & inclusion; social mobility; learning & development; SCS. If you wish to join one of the networks, please email the team mailbox.

The Government Access Project - known as GAP, recently helped 65 patients as well as staff and carers at Trinity Hospice, Blackpool. Our team of cross-government volunteers are now looking forward to returning to Trinity and other local hospices in 2015 to develop their skills further and continue to support our community.
The Citizen and Celebration Event in the north west of England was a day dedicated to achievement and commitment. Our volunteer civil servants working with Civil Service Local give more than just their time to our citizen-focused programmes. The three projects which led to our winning a Civil Service Award for Excellence in Reform work with young people, offenders and those accessing hospice care to make a real difference. The day was a chance to showcase the innovation and creativity that comes from encouraging civil servants to work across government.

GAP - The ‘Government Access Point’ is a project involving Civil Servants from across government visiting local hospices, providing support and advice. On the 15 October we began a series of events at Trinity Hospice in Blackpool.
